I love finding quick ways to create a healthy and time efficient lunch recipe. After dealing with editing, writing, work and just life I don't want to spend 2 hours in the kitchen. My amazing friend who is also a mother of two introduced me to the idea of this recipe.
👨🏽🍳 Ingredients Needed 👩🏻🍳 :
1. Chicken Cutlet 🍗
2. 🥕 Baby Carrots 👩🏻🌾
3. 🌳 Broccoli 🌳
4. 🌱Olive Oil
5. Pepper
**YOU CAN PLACE AS MUCH OF EACH INGREDIENT AS YOU CHOSE DEPENDING ON HOW MANY ARE EATING**
STEPS
1. Thoroughly clean 💦 your Chicken and Veggies (keep separately through this process) . Place each ingredient in their own individual bowl.
2. Place one kitchen spoon of olive oil on a non stick pan. I like to just spray Pam Olive Oil on my pans so that it is spread on the entire pan. Leave that on 5 or medium to begin heating the pan. As you are allowing that to heat up, get your cutting board and begin to cut your broccoli off of the stem. After you are done slice your chicken into strips.
3. After about 4-5 minutes of heating up start to place your strips on the pan. I like to place a cover over the pan so that the chicken can cook thoroughly. Keep checking on your chicken. Once you begin to see it turn brown turn it over to cook the other side. I like to spray Pam on it throughout the cooking process so that it keeps it juicy.
4. Once the chicken is almost finished cooking place your baby carrots and broccoli in the pan. Always keep the top on after applying your veggies. It is optional when you want to place you salt and pepper. I like to place it over my meals before I am about to eat.
5. You only have to cook the vegetables for about 2 minutes and
!BOOM! you have your meal. 😁
**ADDING shredded PEPPERJACK CHEESE TO THIS MEAL 🥘 IS AN OPTION I LIKE TO USE AS WELL**
a little clip of my chef skills !!
BENEFITS ON THIS MEAL :
Carrots 🥕 are a good source of Vitamin A and B6. It also contains beta-carotene, which the body converts into Vitamin A.
Dietary fiber is always needed in a healthy lifestyle, so broccoli 🌳 is one of the best candidates for the job. It is also a source of Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin E.
Oh chicken how we love the fact that you can nourish us with some of that good old protein.
