Let’s Map out 🗺 Your Goals

When I began this journey I really didn’t know what I was doing. I didn’t have a  game plan, but I knew exactly what I wanted. I drowned myself with research and started creating a method for the madness around me. I wanted to create a generic cheat sheet that will help dreamers map out their goals. Below I listed 7 step that can help you through your process ; 


  1. Creating a list;Creating a list of goals you want to achieve is critical. Knowing exactly what you’re shooting for, so you can create a method for achievement. 
  1. Creating a Strategy; For each goal get a separate piece of paper 📝 and organize your strategy for every specific thing on your list. Each goal should have its own section with room to write information. Where do we start? If you don’t know where to begin I advise using your media handles as a source of information. I like to use YouTube as a source because it allows you to see what strategies people have used throughout their success. Research is VERY IMPORTANT, so take some time every day in doing just that. 
  2. Overcome Obstacles ; Identify what obstacles you may encounter throughout your journey. This will allow you to brain 🧠 storm possible solutions. You want to perfect 👌🏽 the art of Brain Storming. Be sure to always have a clear mind and logic behind each action you would take in these situations. 
  3. Organization is 🔑 key; You want to be able to easily find the information you are gathering. Creating your own filing system can take you about a day but once you make it life will be easier. A calendar 📆 is also important to organize. Time management will help you practice self-discipline and keep steady with deadlines. The sooner you apply this the more experience you will have in managing bigger projects. 
  4. Reviewing Progress ; Progress in each goal 🥅 is needed for execution. It should be a habit to review your progress on a regular basis. It will allow you to see what your strengths are and what needs improvement. This helps you find a balance. Each day that passes by is about progressing, and being a little better than yesterday.   
  5. Write down the achievements that you have overcome along the way. This can include the new things you have learned, progress in areas you didn’t even have on your list, and even your thought process. I like to keep a journal 📓 to write my daily achievements. This has helped build my confidence, backtrack to see my progress, and to place my 💡ideas on paper vs. just keeping it locked 🔒 in my head. You always want to focus on your achievements,  NEVER on what you think you have failed at! 
  6. Keeping like-minded people who also want to achieve their own goals will allow you to continue being motivated. Of course, this is optional but sharing your goals with someone is an amazing way to keep track. I have two of my close friends who also are entering the realm of entrepreneurship. We actually create dream maps together and compare them to see if we have anything in common so that we can cross-reference and find a solution together.
